[Gguge] Shortcut Setup Guide

Add a Gguge shortcut to the home screen of your PC, phone, or tablet, and even young or early-grade students can join class on their own! Set it up once for quick, easy access every time.

1. On a Computer or Laptop (PC)

Find your browser in the list below and follow the steps for it.

2. On an Android Phone or Tablet (Galaxy Tab, etc.) (Mobile)

4. How to Join a Class After Setup

1.
Tap the [Gguge shortcut icon] on your desktop or home screen to go straight to your upcoming schedule page.

Check the class date and time, then tap [Prepare for Class].
3.
Tap [Join Class] to enter the scheduled Zoom room directly.
•
If Zoom is installed on your PC and a confirmation pop-up appears, click [Open Zoom Meetings].
•
In the Chrome browser confirmation pop-up, checking [Always allow gguge.zoom.us to open links of this type in the associated app] means you won't be asked again in the future.
•
If Zoom is not installed on your PC, you can still join by clicking [Join from Browser]—no installation needed.
4.
After entering the room, read the instructions on the first screen and tap [Agree].
5.
If a name entry screen appears, enter the student's name so the teacher can identify them.
6.
If using the Zoom app, you'll need to grant microphone and video permissions. This may take a moment, so we recommend checking your setup at least 10 minutes before class starts.
Once everything is ready, follow the teacher's lead and enjoy the class!
